As winter approaches, follow along to see the new changes to "Boy Bye."
If you are new here let me tell you a little about "Boy Bye." She is a 1963 Chevy 2 that I, Hayley, drag race. She is bright green in color. I currently race in a Hard Tire No Prep class. Which means there is no "prep" or "glue" on the track. The main rule in my class is you must run a tire that has a 220 tread wear or higher, although some tracks have different rules, that is the most common.
Like I said winter is approaching and racing season is about over for us. With that being said there will be a lot of changes to "Boy Bye." First and for most she is needing a new motor. After only racing in two events this year, I ended up blowing a head gasket. Also, she only has a little 355 that just isn't big enough to spray a big shot of nitrous.
Lets talk about my plans as of today for "Boy Bye"
-New engine
-Cage improvement
-New Front End (currently she has all stock front end)
-Heavy Shot of Nitrous
-Long Travel Front Struts
More to come so follow along, because next year we plan on winning!
